K+ZINE2026春季号の特集は「高知のアート」。版画家・松林誠さんと、松林さんの作品を全客室に飾るセブンデイズホテルプラス。松林さんの常に新しい世界に挑戦する制作への思いと、ホテルでありながらアートを伝える空間を生むセブンデイズホテルの川上さん親子にお話を伺いました。

インタビューは、香北町谷相で暮らす画家のまりぼんさん。早川ユミさんのもとに弟子入りし、生活に根差した作品づくりを目指して活動しています。高知で結婚、出産を経て、新しい暮らしの中で感じたことから生まれる作品が、私たちの心を震わせてくれることでしょう。

K+ZINE Spring 2026 features "Art in Kochi." We spoke with printmaker Makoto Matsubayashi and the Kawakami family of Seven Days Hotel Plus, which displays Matsubayashi's works in every guest room. We heard about Matsubayashi's commitment to constantly challenging himself in new creative realms, and the Kawakamis' vision for creating a space that conveys art while functioning as a hotel.

Our interview features artist Maribon, who lives in Taniaso, Kohoku Town. She apprenticed under Yumi Hayakawa and strives to create works rooted in daily life. Having married and given birth in Kochi, her pieces born from experiences in this new life will surely resonate deeply with us.
