　「気持ちが作品に入ると思っているので、幸せな気分のときにだけ作ります」
　幸せな気持ちが一番の原動力、と語る結城琴乃さん。その作品は、白、黒、銀色など、モノトーンが基調。細い針金と木で作られたオブジェは、光と影によって違った表情を見せ、空間に優しい変化を与えてくれます。
　細部まで作り込まれた造形と色は、結城さんの好みの集合体であり、個性そのもの。散歩の途中で見つけた草花、見上げた月、港に停泊する船など高知の風景も潜んでいます。
現在、高知市のコパン荘にアトリエを構え、「綴」と名付けたギャラリーで、紹介したい作家の作品の展示などを行いながら制作をしています。
　海外へも活動の場を広げる結城さんの世界には、幸せな思いがあふれています。

“I believe my emotions go into my work, so I only create when I’m feeling happy,”
　says Kotono Yuki, who describes happiness as her greatest source of inspiration. Her works are primarily monochromatic, featuring shades of white, black, and silver. Her sculptures, crafted from thin wire and wood, take on different expressions through the interplay of light and shadow, bringing a gentle sense of change to any space.
　The meticulously crafted forms and colors reflect Yuki’s personal tastes and embody her unique personality. Scenes from Kochi—such as flowers and plants found during walks, the moon seen when looking up, and ships anchored in the harbor—are also hidden within her work.
She currently has a studio at Kopan-so in Kochi City, where she creates while also hosting exhibitions of works by artists she wishes to showcase at her gallery, named “Tsuzuri.”
Yuki’s world, as she expands her activities overseas, is overflowing with happiness.
